Non-existant rain irritates me.

Guhhh. I really don’t like Nebraska weather. And stupid weather people who make me stay late at work even though there is no severe weather anywhere near us.

I have decided that I want to move somewhere warm. Not hot, just pleasantly warm. I can do without the snow. And the constant tornadoes. Hmm…maybe an ocean nearby? That would be delicious. Mountains would be good too. Can we say California, anyone? Darn them and their high cost of living.

I applied for this awesome job in Sausilito, which is a little island off of San Francisco… I know I will never get it (it’s been well over a week and I have heard nothing 😦 ) but I wanted to send it. Because then I can officially say that I applied for a job in California. It was some media position working with Alcatraz (how awesome would that be?!) and helping with their media and audio tours. Now I need to decide where else I would enjoy to move, and submit random resumes there. Carolina would be nice. I’ll scope out the area when I’m there in a few weeks.

However California would just be so magnificent.  Amelia and I could then fulfill our dream of owning our coffee/smoothie house/boat/studio.  Yes, you all heard me.  Think how amazing it would be to have this all on a boat?!  We have a client, we say “Meet us at our studio!” and then we just offer them coffee and smoothies while we take the studio out on the ocean.  Then we take awesome and inspiring pictures with the backdrop of the Golden Gate bridge.  And then when we arrive back, we can offer nice passer-bys the joy of our wonderful chocolate and vanilla chai mixed smoothie.  Ahhh yes, that needs to happen one day.

Yay for being like 12 days from my vacation! Haha, I think Amelia is a bad influence on me. Ever since meeting her my traveling desires have skyrocketed. I’ve always WANTED to travel, but I never had anyone who would just want to up an go with me. Now I haven’t been out of the state since March (oh Missouri doesn’t count) and I’m thinking I might die. Haha, normally I would go years without an exciting vacation. Hehe. I love my Amelia.

I’ve been reading blogs and watching videos about this Filene’s Basement sale. I am so excited…but I do think we are going to be lucky to emerge with anything less than a bruise or two. We need to come up with costume ideas…I figure we can go all out, because no one knows us in Baltimore. Hahaha.

So sigh. I found my dream shoes that would go along just perfectly with the dream dress. Either of these would be the perfect shoe. I think I need to start looking at the prices BEFORE looking at the pictures, since these shoes would be more than my half of the rent. For a couple months. But aren’t they just yummy looking?! Such a treat to my toes I think. The gold would be overly elegant to complement the dress, however the pink would just be oh so very fun. Both are oh so very Cassie. If only they were not so expensive. And from Italy. I’ve come to notice that I tend to like exotic things. That are handmade. And expensive.

I hope Adam realizes what he is in for.
